IV FINTECH INNOVATION SUMMIT 2022.
We had a triple presence: our CEO, David Conde, took part in the expert panel “Explore the future of finance“, Juan José Gómez, CMO, offered advice and a gift to those who stopped by our stand and, in addition, we were proud sponsors of the event. One of our clients, EVO Banco, won the award for the Most Innovative Bank at the 1st Financial Innovation Awards for “its ability to implement technological solutions in a comprehensive manner and adapted to an increasingly digital society”.
WEB SUMMIT LISBON
We participated in the SANTANDER X 100 PITCH COMPETITION after being selected as one of the five best scale up companies in Spain. This global project wants to identify the most innovative startups and scaleups with the greatest growth potential in the field of financial inclusion.
FINTECH HOUSE LISBON
David Conde participated in the round table as an associate: “Harnessing the power of transactional data”. How banks can use transactional customer data to improve engagement and NPS“, with Teresa Sousa, Victor Martins, Nuno Aroeira, Paulo Gaudencio, and António Veiga as the moderator.
MONEY 20/20 AMSTERDAM
Our CEO made the pitch “Improving Financial Wellbeing with Transaction Data Enrichment” in the Spain Pavilion. The most important event in the European fintech sector was a great opportunity to strengthen alliances and continue to expand beyond our borders.

The Vice-President visited our facilities
It was a pleasure to receive Mr. Francisco Conde, First Vice-President and Councillor for Economy, Industry and Innovation of Xunta de Galicia, at the Coinscrap Finance facilities in the Parque Tecnolóxico de Galicia, S.A.
Referring to our automatic financial advice module, he said: “It is a clear success story of how Galicia, through technology and innovation, is responding to the challenges of the future”. In addition to the IFI Innova loan, the Xunta also supports us through a 5.13% participation by XesGalicia.
Acknowledgement, strategic alliances and ISO 27001
We were chosen in August to be part of the VISA Innovation Program in its first edition in Spain among more than 116 applications. During these months we have been working hand in hand to improve our categorisation engine, COCO.
Coinscrap Finance also received the Mutualidad de la Abogacía Sustainability Award in the innovation category. Rafael Navas, Managing Director, presented the award to our team.
As part of our unstoppable growth, this year we also became part of two international associations: Fintech Mexico and Fintech House Portugal, where our co-founder and CEO, David Conde, is one of the mentors of the Fintech House 2023 Fellowship. Always committed to security, last April we obtained ISO 27001 certification by EQA for our Information Security Management System. Our quality standards are the highest and we offer all the guarantees in our developments.
Renovation and change at Coinscrap Finance
We unveiled the new corporate visual identity that accompanies our business strategy: be the leading company helping the financial industry to offer hyper-personalised products and services to its customers, due to the analysis and categorisation of bank transactional data.
For this purpose, we have One {Smart} Platform with multiple solutions, based on our artificial intelligence engine, COCO. We know that our tools have the power to transform the financial market and help users to improve their household finances.
Since the birth of the brand in 2016, we have grown in many ways and we wanted to reflect that maturity in our image. Our logo is now more powerful, with a stronger representation of our vocation towards finance and with a new isotype that represents transactions thanks to two arrows that evoke cash incomes and expenses.
What do we expect from the future? Our mission for 2023
To help more than 2 million families in the next 2 years. This is our goal and, to make it happen, we aim to be the most accurate and reliable financial health AI platform, with scalable and replicable use cases for banks, insurers and distributors of financial products.
As a summary, we can say that we are very satisfied with this year’s achievements and we face 2023 with the certainty that it will bring us many exciting challenges. We are willing to tackle them with creative thinking and behavioral economics principles.
