Coinscrap Finance was founded in 2016. Since then, we’re working to be the Financial Health AI Platform of the future using transactional data & behavioural economics. We help banks and insurers to understand the financial situation of their clients and to sell the product that better fits, a win-win for both financial entities & their retail customers.

2016

The beginning

Coinscrap Finance is set up. We open our first office located in Ourense.

2017

Coinscrap App

Coinscrap App was launched to the market. We signed an agreement with Caser to sell their products. We opened a new office at Pontevedra. We were 9 coinscrapers.

2018

B2B

We launched the first B2B product: EVO BANCO micro-savings. Due to its success, we kept focusing on B2B customers (retail banks, insurance companies and FinTechs).

2019

Consolidation

Agreement with Banco Santander to create a solution to help users improve their financial health.

2020

Internationalization

We started to internationalize the company with Mapfre, developing its financial planner in Mexico.

In addition, we raised a 450K round of financing that allowed us to further consolidate the team.

2021

Solid growth

In the summer of 2021 we closed our third round of financing for 2.2M in which we once again had the support of our investors and incorporated new partners to the cap table.

2022

Expansion

We continue to grow and work on our internationalization in LATAM. We are members of the Fintech Association Mexico.
